The large
white-painted house is set in its own peaceful grounds in a conservation area on
the edge of the village.
It's a stone's throw from hidden-away High Street and Fore Street, one of the area's most charming, best-kept secrets. A ten minute stroll takes you to the historic harbour and coastpath. Our twin and double rooms are all en-suite and have been fully refurbished in crisp, contemporary style. There’s a spacious lounge and in summer, a garden in which to unwind and relax. Orchard Lodge offers easy parking, whilst being convenient for local transport. The village’s oldest pub and a handy shop are just yards away. We welcome walkers and cyclists, so if you’re planning either activity, find out more about the facilities we can offer here.
Opening details:
We took over Orchard Lodge right at the beginning of a very busy 2006 season and immediately began a major improvement and refurbishment programme which has now resulted in us being awarded Five Stars and a Gold Award from Visit Britain and a Gold Award from the Green Tourism Business Scheme. Our first visit to Boscastle was on a wet and windy day in the Autumn of 2005 but despite the weather we were delighted a year later to find exactly the home we'd been looking for to begin our new careers. After more years than we care to count in the television news business we've discovered a new and rewarding way of life and have been delighted by the encouragement and comments of our many guests. We hope you agree and that you'll enjoy your stay with us here at Orchard Lodge on the beautiful North Cornish coast.
